Anyone have any experience putting a Sims Limb Saver on the laminated stocks?  Does it work?  What size fits?  Thanks, Mike.

Yes it works. You can down load templates for the perfect fit. This is the best recoil pad ever. I have two of them one is s a slip for a 3" 20g O/U.
the other is for a 300Win Mag Mod 70. Perfect fit.
 Do search on google.Fred M.

I have one on my .45-70 Ultra, used the grind to fit, medium, IIRC. It's by far the best recoil pad I've ever felt!!! I have em on all my heavy kickers including an 835 Ulti-mag shooting 3.5", 2.25oz turkey loads, wouldn't even try them without the Limbsaver.

I have one of those 835Ulti-Mags as well and am also using 3.5" 2.25 ounce winchester High velocities..I don't have a limb saver on it but am planning for one as well as for my Handi 45-70..Do they work that well and will they add any to the length of pull...They feel a little to cusiony to me and I'm wondereing if the give will cause my thumb to pop me...

Never been popped by my thumb with any of em, the .45-70, 835 UM or either of my TC Black Diamonds shooting 405gr powerbelts. The 835UM limbsaver is ~1/4" longer than the mossy recoil pad. The grind to fit Limbsaver on the .45-70 is perhaps only 1/8" longer than the NEF pad.

I don't have one on a Handi yet..but will...but I do have one on my 1895GS 45-70 and on my 870 Magnum 3-1/2" and can honestly say it IS the best pad I've ever had the pleasure of using...it's well worth the money for them....

Thanks everyone.  Thanks Fred for the address.  I went there and downloaded all the templates.  Will order one for my ultra slug hunter first.  This is a great forum, it is like being a member of the worlds largest shooting club.  There is always someone who will know the answer.
