DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THE STRENGTH OF UBERTI HIGHWALL? DOES IT COMPARE TO A MARLIN 1895 IN STRENGTH , BOLT ACTION OR WHAT? WHAT ARE SOME OF THE LOADS YOU SHOOT IN YOUR UBERTI 45/70. THINKING OF BUYING ONE AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOU CAN TELL ME, ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS

THANKS HIGHWALL HUNTER. I HOPE TO BE A HIGHWALL HUNTER BEFORE LONG. YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW BEFORE I BUY ONE. I DON'T LOAD MY MARLIN ALL THAT HOT, NOT NEAR MAX ANYWAY.
IT'S JUST GOOD TO KNOW YOU HAVE A LITTLE SAFETY MARGIN WHEN HANDLOADING. THANKS AGAIN AND I HOPE SOME ONE ELSE WILL TELL ME ABOUT THEIR HANDLOADS FOR UBERTI 45/70

Ya mean when ya pull the trigger the bullet doesn't even MOVE?? :eek:

If it moves that's a pretty good indication of pressure. :)  :D

:roll: OK OK Iguess ya got me there! I meant to say no cratering ,flowing,smudging or any other sign of excess pressure was observed.And yes the bullet did leave the barrel and joined it's two buddies in a 3/4 " group downrange at 110 yards 8) .Talk to you later!
