We in KY passed a constitutional ammendment not only banning gay marriage but also defining marriage as between a man, and a woman. The vote was, real people 75%-gays 25%. One would think that even a dumcrap would know what a marriage is, but they don't. Saw a dumcrap on tv this morning, he said they had figured out that it was moral issues that beat them. Then he said, we didn't think that morality was so important. Again I say, DUUUUUUHHHHH. POWDERMAN.

Congratulations Powderman for living in a state that takes a stand on the meaning of marriage. 11 states passed laws defining the meaning of marriage. :-)

I even saw a Dumacrat on TV saying that one major thing that hurt Kerry was when appearing on stage with a bunch of filthy talking, disrespectful Hollyweird elites, Kerry said " This is the 'heart and soul' of America".....obviously he was WRONG...

It's a sad state of affairs when we have to pass laws defining something as simple as marriage. As long as we have dumcraps, I guess we will need such legislation. One dumcrap said that he didn't know that morality meant that much. We have our first republican gov in more years than I can remember,I believe about 30, Indiana got one too. Ky gained 7 rep seats too, the most ever but the dims still control. They hate our govornor. He ran against gay marriage, anti abortion, pro gun. You know, things the dumcraps hate. I believe the whole concept of morality, right and wrong, and uggghhhhh, religion, scare the hell out of the dumcraps. Gotta go to work. POWDERMAN.

My question is why would government be in the marriage business anyway? People were getting married before there was a United States. Without question, marriage is a religious institution. Now the government gets into the game and even taxes this practice.

I know I don't think the same as most here but I want LESS government. Now, don't reply and tell me you want LESS government but at the same time want LAWS telling what marriage is. THAT IS BIG GOVERNMENT PEOPLE!!!
Both the DEMCRAPS and REPUBFARTS want big government. Just want it in different ways. It's simple, more laws equals more and bigger government.

Why can't we have a government that protects it's citizens form terror, help this under privileged, and educate its young. Leave the rest to the people.

We have had a Anti Gay marriage law in Kalitaxia for several years.And we have a AC/DC Mayor in Frisco that overroad it without much fight.

Liberals will never understand Christians or morality. Because there is nothing in their ideology that is morally or biblically defenceable. Their core beliefs do not extend beyond their feel good mentality. And their souls are basically hollow. This is not say they are not intelligent most of them are deep thinkers. But with out morals or faith based in Christianity, Their thinking although deep is lacking like a tree with out roots. These things are totally alien to liberals, therefore it frightens and confuses them.

Yessir.. true enough.

Interesting thought.
Gore was defeated, in part, by his clear anti-gun stance. So Kerry stayed away from that issue entirely.
Kerry was defeated, in part, by his lack of moral center. So will the future Presidential candidates do more to BE moral and centered?

It is intriguing that the leadership in this country continues to be taught a lesson. Character matters!! Are they listening?

I've got news for them ...it is going to be very difficult to fake being a REAL Christian...we will spot those fakers from a mile away... They will have to LIVE it for some time...

The Dems and their media elite say they " Didn't realize morals and values meant so much to middle America!".

Not hard to understand, since THEY are so completely devoid of either...

You know, while in Europe I asked a friend if he knew why Europeian values and ideas were so differant from Americians? His reply was "It's simple, we got rid of all the Puritians, we sent them to Americia"! Maybe that's why we are a faith based Christian society.
