same hole!!!!: range report for ultra slug hunter

i shot my ultra slug hunter 920 20 ga. w/ synthetic monte carlo/forend today w/ federal 3'' 3/4oz today. i have shot the win part gold and they did ok(50 yds: 1.5'' 100 yds: 3'') but i got a box of the federal expanders(the 1450 fps ones) and they did great!!!!! same hole at 50 yds and 1.5 at 100 yds!!!. i just odered the 20 ga. high volocity (1900 fps) from cabelas and hope they shoot ok.

sounds like my 20ga ultraslug at 50yds.mine also shoots a ragged hole at 50 with the Fed Expander slugs.good hunting to you

in regards to the PM you sent me this is what the gun looks like with a plastic butt stock and a painted wood forarm.just cheap black spray paint was used.not the best but i like it.good luck with your gun.
