Wooden US Grips
« on: November 04, 2004, 05:28:12 PM »
I think I have seen a photo of some wooden 1911 grips with "US" stamped or burned in to them. I would like to have a pair if I can find them.
 Any ideas?

Springfield Armory had offered them as standard on the Mil-Spec versions. They changed them to standard double diamond grips. They still may have them, though they are not on the website. Good luck.

Q. WhatÂ’s the difference between a piper and a walrus?
A. One squeals a lot and the other is a walrus.
