I emailed Timney and asked when the new 788 trigger was going to be ready or if the project was stopped.

They have been issuing statements like that for 2 years now so I will believe it when I see it!!  As it is now both of my 788s have triggers with no creep and the pull on both is 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 so I don't need the Timneys if they ever do come out.

George is right.  I have had two on order from Timney for a couple of years and Midway advertised them as "coming soon" for a while.  I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
