Anyone buying a Tikka T3 stainless rifle with the serial numbers between 419140 to 461951 is urged to call Beretta USA. toll free at 1-800 636-3420 . The Sako line of rifles are also affected because of the same manufacturer of the barrels.The receivers are not in question rather the barrels, apparently the steel used to make them is sub standard causing the barrels to be too brittle. There was an incident at Victoria BC ,Canada where a Sako blew to pieces.
