First off Welcome.  :D
We all would love to give you a load and bullet that would work, but most guns need to be shot with different powder and bullets to see what combination works best in your particular gun. Did you want to use powder or pellets? With the powder you can use a lot of different weights. With pellets you are stuck with 100 gr. or 2 pellets. There are a lot of bullets to chose from also. Powerbelts, and a lot of different bullets & sabots. Also what is your lever of muzzleloading, beginner  ect.

In my Encore I use 100gr. 2 pellets of triple7 and 295 gr. powerbelts and have great success.  Good luck and maybe someone can give you some other loads and set up to try. Let us know how it works.

CVA Kodiak
« Reply #2 on: November 15, 2004, 06:05:47 PM »
I picked up a 50 Cal CVA Kodiak a few weeks ago and it shoots like a charm.  I am using 2-50 grain 777 pellets and 245 grain TC MagExpress Sabots.

I am pretty new to muzzleloading, but my Kodiak shoots just as nice as my Shotgun or .308.  I get 2-3 inch groupings at 100 yards.

Let me know what you settled with.
