If you are into shooting a .50 caliber, we have pics of a custom .50 in our photo gallery. www.coyotejakes.com ,the .50 caliber was shot off of our "Big Boy" aluminum bench. This was the fist time I have every shot a rifle of this caliber. Thanks, Dave.

It kicked like my 12 gage with 3-inch mags. I was very surprised, I was expecting to get my arm blown off but it wasn’t bad at all.

I can't tell from the pictures, but it must have a muzzle brake, right?

Zachary, yes it has a big break on it and you sure don't want to stand beside it. It is an awsome sound!!

David,

I have some muzzle brakes on my "hunting" rifles, and even they can be loud with the "magnum" rounds like the 300 WM, 338 WM, etc.  But I can't imagine the "SOUND" emminating from the BIG 50.

Zachary, I noticed you live in Florida. This would be a long trip, however the .50 caliber World chamiponship is held in Raton NM. If you go to www.http://www.nrawc.org it will give you a schedule. I would recommend going just for the thrill. Dave

You know what?  I just might be crazy enough to go.   I always was somewhat captivated by this round.  I guess I have a thing for guns that really go BOOOOOOM.

I'll check that link you gave me.  Thanks.
