Limbsaver recoil pads.....sale

Just got a ad today from EABCO...they have the 'prefit' limbsaver pads for the SB2 on sale for 29 bucks..... 8)  I'm thinkin of getting one just based on Quikdtoo's recomendation alone! :toast:

Deadeye, I checked that template against a wood monte carlo and a laminated stock, it's bigger than the wood and smaller than the laminated stocks. The hole spacing is correct but the position of the holes is wrong so you would need to drill new holes in the stock. I would recommend the grind to fit small for best fit on the handi wood/lam stocks. It's also smaller than the synthetic handi stock and holes are in the wrong place. The synthetic stock can't be redrilled to change the hole position so the change would need to be done on the pad. Looking at the difference in the #10003 recoil pad, I don't think it would be a viable pad for any of the NEF stocks.

:shock:  Well....I guess that takes care of that lil shopping spree! Thanks for the heads up Quick! I guess I had better go with the Grind type....Only problem is my grinder is boxed up in a storage shed....I guess I need to unearth some stuff so I can do some simple little projects. :oops:  Thanks again!
