Did a little water jug test today. The bullets used were Speer 130gr HP, Hornady 150gr SST, and a hornady 150gr BTSP. All were shot over H4895 loaded middle of the High-Low loading data. I shot the jugs at about 15yds just to make sure I hit the center with my experimental loads. The 130gr HP blew the jug into 3 pieces all going in different directions (four if you count the screw on cap) with very little exit blowout. The 150gr BTSP split the jug open along the corners with no parts missing, moderate exit blowout. The SST gave me the most comparable result to the 165 BTHP that I used to shoot out of my rifle. Split the jug open at the corners, blew the top off, and left a very ragged exit blowout. I will be using the SST once I get a good grouping load for it.
