I have a post somewhere on how to do the conversion. I've done about 10 of them from ejector to extract only, real simple project.  Let me see if I can find the thread.

When changing the ejector to an extractor you should be aware that the extractor is still only activated  by the ejector spring. The ejector has an inertia advantage while the extractor has not. I If you have a case sticking problem the extractor will not alleviate it. I myself like the ejector it is easy enough to catch the empty case if you want to. In the field if you need a fast second shot you just forget about the empty case.

seems simple enough. I think I will give it a whirl on my 25-06. I see in sme of th enewer models they are using extractors now.

On this topic, does anyone have the instructions to use a thin piece of cardboard to temporarily convert to extractor? I copied the instructions, but my 'pooters hard drive went south and I lost some data. I tried a search, but couldn't find it.

I converted mine to an extractor in my 25-06 when I got home. Was easy and I like the fact of not having to chase the brass. 5 minutes and the grinder and it was done.
