Has anyone else heard this?

This was posted in the Rimfirecentral.com-->Forums-->Kimber...

"Called the NRA Silhouette Department. Supposedly, there are some changes to rule "3.1.1 section e " regarding the wording of varmint style barrels being prohibited in hunter class.. Not official yet but new wording will suggest taper and overall weight being the limiting factor.. not the fact that the manufacturer slapped a shorter fluted barrel on the gun and called it a varmint. Bull barrels will still be prohibited in hunter class. What this means is the pro varmint and other like rifles (cooper light varmint target as an example) should be legal for hunter class provided they make weight."

Is this part of the changes that were made when the governing committee met?

Thanks
