I would think Marlin or Winchester or both would jump on this fast.  Maybe I am just hoping too much ????

marlin. If you don't know marlin owns H&R and they are already making barrels for the handi rifle so more than likely it will be marlin.

Wild West Guns was the first one out with a 500 S&W levergun, in their own model 04 action.  The receiver is proportioned just for the 500 S&W.
