sheridan bluestreak info needed!
« on: October 06, 2004, 11:25:46 AM »
i just picked up a bluestreak. it has a good looking walnut stock that needs refinishing, but other wise is in nice shape. its been a long time sense my bb gun days and i have questions.
#1 how many pumps = fps?
#2 owners manual,any downloads possible?
#3 parts?
previous owner said three pumps. by the way i paid $40.00 for this air rifle and intend to use it for small game and indoor targets during the winter.
any help would be welcome, thanks all!
if its worth doing, finish it!

8 pumps max, should be in the 670+ fps range.
For parts, try Rick Wilnecker at Precision Pellet:
http://www.airgunshop.net/index.html, or Bryan and Associates at

charlie45,

You can go to Crosman at http://www.crosman.com/site/request_manual/ and request an owners manual.  Lawdog

charlie45,

Most find that adult air guns are an illness from which there is NO CURE.  The more you get = the more you want = the more you get,..... etc., etc....... It seems there is no end except what your wallet will stand.  In my case it started out in 1992 with one Beeman Kodiak for protecting the kids rabbits from pest raccoons, fox and other such pests.  I traded it in on a Crow Magnum III and the wife like to shoot it but cocking it was a chore for her(60 lbs. cocking effort).  So I took her over to the Beeman home office(when it was still in Santa Rosa, Ca.) where they let her shoot different models until she fell in love with the Super 12.  Then came more air rifles and pistols until it seems they are getting out of hand.  ThatÂ’s what I mean there is NO CURE.  Lawdog

blue streak!
« Reply #5 on: November 25, 2004, 02:10:18 PM »
i have shot my blue streak stock since 1978. last year, after about 5000 full power (eight pumps) shots the seal started leaking. i sent it to mac 1 airguns. and got the steroid tune! wow! almost 900 fps, good trigger, great accuracy, hits squirrels like a .22 rimfire, over the years i tried a few scope mounts, i didn,t like them so i went to a williams peep sight. it shoots half inch groups at 50 yards!
i paid about $150. for the tune and the peep sight. for the money it has to be a deal for such performance.
i also own a fwb 124 and hw 77, both very fine german springers. but the blue streak shoots .20 cal pellets faster than they shoot .177s.  i love mine!
you could duplicate mine for about $300 bucks including, new gun, steroid tune, williams peep sight....i,m not sure what else you can buy that shoots 900fps into half inch groups for $300????
   good luck!
