Probably get farther asking for a 444. The two are ballistic twins, so if you can't get anywhere with 'em chambering a 444 again, get yourself a 44 Mag barrel and rechamber it.

Sound advice...the 444 is an outstanding cartridge...it's too bad NEF killed chambering it....

Actually, I have ulterior motives besides just a .405. This would get some .408 barrels in the system for rechambering.
