Got to sneak off to the range new gun new scope scope was put on at the gun shop, thought it was bore sighted, boy I was wrong. But that was ok stared out at 25yrds found out I needed to bore sight and moved into 15yreds got it zeroed there moved to 25 zeroed there then on to 50. Don't know if you need to breakin a 17cal but I did anyway gave me some thing to do shot and cleaned. Any way when I finely got to 50yrds it shot a five shot group at 3/4  a inch. I think I can do better with a different scope at that distance the simmons 22mag 4x32 cross is to fat to see the center, any sugestons on a different scope. I think I have another place for this scope. The little 17 m2 is a hoot to shoot using Hornady v-max. :D

The Simmons ATV 4.5-14x40AO is a nice scope that doesn't break the bank @$80, maybe less on ebay, that's what I have on my 17M2 Sportster.

I snuck off the the lake with my hummer today too. I was shooting discarded 12 gage shotgun shells off the edge of my wooden target at 100 yards after I got mine sighted in :) I LOVE that gun. It sports a Bushie 3x9x40 scope. I've already killed a bunch of Prairie dogs with it  last summer.  :)
Ohhhh, I hate when that happens
