If I understand it right michbob is asking if anyone makes barrels with custom chambering, not doing re-chambering work.

As far as I know White still does re-chambering.   :D

Marts Custom, IIRC was the name, of a custom caliber barrel source for Handi-rifles, but they are no longer in business.

Who was it that a nef re cambered to a 348 win? He had apost a few days ago it has disapeared as far I can see!! Some of the Old Timers was talking about a snith that did work on Handis. Never gave a name, that I saw. Marv.

I remember the post.  It was someone that had 4 rifles built by David White.  He went to his shop and shot the 348.  Can't remember who it was now.  Maybe a search for 348 would get it.

I kind of think that 348 post had some reference to some one that is banned on this site.  As far as I know David White does not have a website.  You can find info about him by doing a Google for him.
