Stainless Handi rifles

Was checking out a gun store on the way home from a mule deer hunt. They had several stainless Handi Rifles. Who has any of these and how do they perform. They are a good looking gun. To me that is. They had a 223 and 243 in that model. They had two 25-06 Ultras and a 243 Ultra. They were all new. Prices run from 229.00 to 299.00. Any Info?

I have handled a few in stores and really like them, but do not own one.Ive asked about them on the forum before and never got a response,I guess nobody has one.I wish NEF would offer more of their rifles in stainless steel.They could make a Ultra stainless model with a black and gray laminate stock ,that would be trick.I would be the first one in line to buy one.

james, i just purchased the stainless handi in 243 and i really like the gun, it is a good looking gun. i have only shot it long enough to site it in. it has a great trigger and with 100 gr remington core lok it was putting them where i wanted them ( i dont care about 5 shots through 1 hole, i want 1 shot through 1 deer) i took an 8 pointer with it this morning. this is my first handi rifle and the only issue i have is that there was not very much clearance for the scope so i had to use see through mounts . they dont look bad on it so i am happy. hope this helps
