Wouldn't you know it, season ended yesterday and today the encore comes. Oh well that will give me a year to play with it before hunting it.
I did take it strieght to the range and run a box of rem. factory loads throgh it. It does at the least need a lighter trigger spring and maybe a polish job.
At 100 yrds. I was only able to get 1 1/2 inch groupes out of it but I hesitate to put any judgement on that until I have the lighter trigger and I'm not shakign from the cold.
