One thing that will help is to stiffen the trigger guard spring. Makes the gun a little harder to open but I havn't found it to be a problem. I went to the hardware store and bought some various sized springs and found the heaviest one that would fit without binding. It actualy fits over the stock spring so that there are twosprings, one inside the other. The reason I did this is I found that under the severe recoil of the 450, the trigger guard wants to rock backward as the gun recoils upward. I had problems with a 10" 45/70 barrel wanting to open durring recoil. Figured out that the trigger guard was actually taping the locking lugs as it rocked back. Stiffened up the spring and it cured it. This probably wont cure your problem but it will lessen it some. I don't put my weak hand index or middle fingers behind the trigger guard any more when shooting the big ones just for this reason. KN
