OK i'm sure this question comes up allot but i've been reading allot on different web sites and want to ask . Where can I obtain the best custom barrel i've seen rechambering on mike bellms web site. There bullberry and eabco. There may be others but this is what i have found so far they all seem to say there the best. I thought Id come here and ask the people who have them and get opinions about the work. and any other custom shops that are good would be helpful.

I do not have one of his barrels, yet! But my next custom barrel will be made by Mike Sirois, owner of On Target Technologies (OTT). I have read many reports from owners of his barrels, all which rated him as one of the best. I have also spent several hours in his shop and am very impressed with his techniques and vast knowledge of barrel making. There are others out there at different prices and different add-ons, a little research into those might help you make the right decision for you. I have used Bullberry barrels for at least 15 years, and can attest to their quality and accuracy. T/C handgun accuracy is a combinaion of factors, including ammunition, frame, and the shooter, but a good barrel is also essential. Fred's stuff has never dissappointed me - and I have five of his barrels.

I went a different route! Bought a used Hart barrel and had it converted to Encore and rechambered by OTT to 7-08. It turned out great. It is extremely accurate and shoots (5 shots) half MOA or better with its favorite ammo.

Forgot to mention that I researched most of the custom barrel makers before I went the route I mentioned earlier. Van Horn: http://www.mygunroom.com/dvgunshop/ told me his barrels regularly give half MOA but he would not guarantee it.

Thanks for all the info everyone. I will be checking on mnufactures and make a decision. My next question is If I go with a 243 win or a 6mm ppc witch is what im leaning towards what twist and barrel length would be best.
