"Robin-hood's" first buck

I'm Michael's (aka Robin-hood) dad. He posted pics of my buck, now heres some pics of his. He's taken 6 deer with rifle & muzzle-loader, but this is his first rack buck. He bow-hunts too but no luck so far.  This 7 point is the same buck he shot at and missed last month with a muzzle-loader at about the same range. 210 yards is a long shot with a muzzle-loader, but he made it look easy with my old .270.  The boy is only 14 but he's been rifle-hunting since he was 10.
   Keep them kids smilin, everything else is trivial.

   Very accurate load

Congratulations your sons buck.  :D  My question is, were the deer wearing them garters when you shot them.  :D

Ha Ha Ha, good one Red-hawk. Actually I dressed them up just for the photos.       when I hang my deer I cover the body cavity with mesh cloth game bags to keep those *&#@%^#@ blue-flies out.

Great idea. I just get my to the butcher store right away. I have a place I go that stays open late during deer season.  8)
