Got the kids a youth syn .223 and am wondering if we could cut the bbl to 20" without any severe adverse affects.  Accuracy is unbelievable even with 70 gr. V-max. Also am wondering if we could glass the action and what to use.  Thanks.

Bad Bob,

I would leave the barrel alone.  Kids grow, barrels don't.  Lawdog

If your "accuracy is unbelievable ", why do you want to glass the action? If it works, don't fix it. Acraglas from Brownells is the only product I have ever used, but mostly to fix sloppy inletting in wood stocks.
