Claroxan: Supplement improves vision
« on: November 09, 2004, 11:28:41 AM »
Today I picked up  the November/December/January 2004-2005 Issue of MOOSE.

On page 5 is an advertisment titled "The Ins & Outs of Better Shooting" by Andrew Easton.
The article explains how a British Supplement called CLAROXAN. It  helped him to improve his vision and shooting technique, as he claims.
When I went on line, as expected, a month's supply is NOT cheap!!!  http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BQY/is_6_50/ai_115495758.

I have been experiencing some difficulty the last few years at the range trying to focus on iron sights and see the target adequately.  I thought I would pass along this article to see if anyone here has bitten and tried CLAROXAN themselves?????  I'm about ready to hang up the shooting jacket as nothing seems to be helping my eyes anymore.

I dont know if this stuff works, but if you have seen the idiot commercial for it on TV you may question its value.  Whoever made the commercial knew nothing about shooting or hunting.  It was embarrassing to watch.

I'm leary, sometimes the cure is worse than the problem.  Have you paid attention to the "side affects" of most of the stuff the drug companies try to sell on TV?

Seems to me that taking one pill leads to taking another, then another......before you know it, there's a handful of pills every day.......I've been of the mindset that if your not sick when you go to the doctor you will be when you leave!
