Millett has been my most common choice in scope rings. I have mounted at least 30 scopes with their Angle-Loc rings, (for Weaver style bases). Not one problem with the rings or the scopes. Not one. I have called their customer service dept to get some extra screws once, as I lost some, and they were very friendly and helpful. I take care to center the rings laterally on the mount and check their alignment with each other. After that, it is useful to utilize their adjustability for windage so that you can keep from over-adjusting with the scope's internal adjustments. I generally use the ring adjustment for (windage) boresighting and fine tune with internal adjustments at the range. I have not encountered any situation where I felt I risked bending a scope tube. I have used Burris,Weaver, Redfield. Leupold,Warne, and other rings as well. There are a lot of good rings out there, but I use Milletts most often and I have never regretted those choices. I like 'em!
