i've seen in some gunshops the ruger m77 laminate/stainless sporter in calibers like .280, .7mm, etc. with a dull gray metal finish. however in the ruger catalog and website it is shown as the bright stainless finish. anyone know if the dull gray was just a special run or what? i know they make certain varmint rifle versions with the dull gray finish on it. i really like it.
