« on: November 28, 2004, 12:06:31 PM »
i saw a new H&R rifle chambered at the factory for 357max.this rifle was new and still had the original box all for $359.00  it was stocked with the normal stained pallet wood and was nothing special.

just think someone still has one of the pre NEF rifles still in the box new.a little to much money for me.im sure he still has it

A local gun shop up the road from me used to have two .357 max rifles with laminated stocks and they were h&rs.That was two plus years ago,so I guess they are floating around out there. You couldn't get the guy to come down on the price at the gun show? They have to be a fairly rare rifle. You don't see too many of them anyway.

When I bought mine back in the spring it was new in the box and was a little over 200.00 would think 359.00 is a little steep, but guess it is all in what one wants.
