measuring a barrel?

To get the length of a barrel, do you measure the whole barrel or only to the chamber.  NEF 12 ga measures total length of 31 1/2 and 28 to the 3" chamber.  So I assume it is a 28" barrel, correct???

no. you measure chamber and all. from the very back of the barrel to the vey tip of the barrel.

So this would be the 32" 12 ga listed on the accesorry program.  What makes it more than the 28" ?  28 is 39.00    32 is 56.00
Why is that?

longer barrel=more materials= higher cost
