Quick question: .30 WRF
« on: November 28, 2004, 06:24:32 AM »
Is .30 WRF the same cartridge as the .30-30? I thought I read that in a cartridge ID book once, but now I can't find it.
Thanks.

If you mean .30 WCF, that's the same as a .30-30.  It stands for Winchester Center Fire.

If there ever was a .30 Winchester Rim Fire, it must not have caught on! :)

.30 WCF was the original designation for the .30-3, IIRC.
