I was driving over the pasture to my deer stand today, when lo and behold a coyote was dumb enough to stop and stand within 100 yds. exactly.Well I loaded the new 44 mag. and held the crosshairs 1" over his back and touched it off. I was shooting JPH 45's load of 22.3 gr. of H110 and 300 gr.XTP,and it really slammed him to the ground. They don't shoot very well in the front channelure, but seat them out to within .010" of the lands and it shoots 1" at 50 yds. It shoots 1.5" high at 50 yds. and 4" low at 100 yds. I think I'll start shooting the 240's and see if I can get some expansion with them. The 300's didn't expand at all. Digger
