Been a rounding up stuff today

Shore have done a lot of surfing and phoning today.

Got 200 rounds of Cowboy .45 LC ammo coming from Hornady and 500 of their excellent cowboy bullets to use in reloading headed my way. Spoke with the pards at Black Hills and while they didn't firmly commit they indicated a willingness and only wanted to check over the site and see my request in writing which I forwarded via e-mail. Expect a couple hundred rounds from them also and some .45-70 loads for the Marlin 1895 Cowboy.

Got a strong maybe from Drayton Valley Dry Goods but will let me know next week on clothes. If not I have a couple more places to contact.

Pretty sure I have a pair of custom made boots from Austin Hall Boot Company lined up but she wanted to look over the web site and let me know next week also. Gonna hafta go custom it looks like. My leg is so dang fat at the calf seems regular boots ain't fat enough to fit.

Supposed to get a call back from a cart maker later tonight. Spoke with his wife as he wasn't home. Shore do like them carts that Jimmy John Daniels makes. My wood working skills aren't bad for a one armed blind man but then they are a bit below par from such a person. Yeah I got two arms and two more or less good eyes.  :)

Ain't exactly figured out just what pants/shirt/hat I want yet. Torn between a couple different looks but since I'm not finding anyone with one of them it might not matter.

I found lotsa tall and skinny clothes on special discount at one of the sites I visited today. Not sure I can remember off hand which but if you want I can see if I can figure it out. Now short fat they didn't seem to have in abundance. Reckon they must think all cowboys are supposed ta be tall and skinny but frum what I saw in the Cowboy Chronicle it seems a fair sharge of us are pleasingly plump.  :)

That's what my wife said when she looked through the Cowboy Chronicle. Now she thinks I look normal.....sort of. For those of us horizontally challenged try http://www.wwmerc.com/cgi-bin/Category.cgi?category=3160&type=store or my buddy Wylie at http://www.buffaloswildwest.com/Untitled/h0mex.html
