Winchester 1400 MKII

What is the difference between a 1400 and a 1400 MKII.
I bought a MKII with wood in great condition. 12 Ga. 2 3/4" chamber, 28" barrel, barrel has a 1/2" split at the very end. I am going to have the barrel cut, not sure what length yet. I paid 85.00 total out the door for the gun. Any opinions?

yeah my opinion is that youre a butthole. you keep coming up with these great guns for basically nothing in the way of money lol.

i really liked the mohawk you guys refinished.

how about a link to your site?

also, the 1400 as far as i know, is a great gun and i would say you got a hell of a deal.

Sorry if I offended. With 4 kids, wonderful wife who is a stay at home MOM, braces for kids, and everything else I try to pay for on a single income, the only way I can justify picking up another gun is to find these so-called steals. Usually guns that have been mistreated, that are not too far gone for me to restore. Wish I could buy brand new like some folk.
Thanks for the Mohawk compliment. There have been others since that one.

A widow friend of my mother-in-law sold me her late husband's shotgun. It is a Stevens 311A on 20 Gauge, 3" chambers, 26" barrels, full chokes, double triggers. the gun has no flaws. Wood is good. 150.00 I refinished the wood & removed light rust off barrel & reciever. Barrel reblued with Oxpho from brownells.
