Where to buy ammo online
« on: November 23, 2004, 10:04:52 AM »
Hi all-

I would like to purchase some ammunition online and wondering which website you like best and that holds the lowest shipping/handling fees?

Thanks!   :D   HG

check out www.nationalbullet.com  I have dealt with them sending my brass and they reload it and they have been real good to deal with.  I really like their .44 magnum in a semi wad copper coated.  It goes 950 fps and is a fun shooting round in a 4" smith 629 mountain gun.  I do not need to wear a glove to shoot it like some of the full load magnums.
A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at the golf course.

Here are some of the places online that I've ordered ammo from. Shipping fees will depend upon the distance to be shipped. I don't believe any of the below stores charge a handling fee with the exception of Grafs. They charge  a Non-Refundable $4.75 handling and insurance charge, however shipping is free to the lower 48.

http://www.grafs.com/

Some other online ammo stores to check out are:

http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Ammunition.html

http://www.champchoice.com/

http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/

http://www.ammoman.com/        (already mentioned above)

Hope that is of some help.
