a 300 grn seirra JSP is going 900 fps from a 6 " barrel. approx what velocity would you get form an 18" barrel?

I read somewhere that you can gain about 10 fps per inch difference up to about a length of 24 inches BUT there are a lot of variables--burn rate, crimp, projectile, etc.
