I've used nothing but NAP Thunderhead 125s from my bows for 20 years or so. For the new Horton the only change I'm making is to 100s per Horton's recommendations for broadhead weight. But it will still be Thunderheads for me.

I also shoot 125 grain 3 blade broadheads out of my Barnett as recommended but have 2 bolt weights 2117's and 2219's I think I will expirement with some 100 grain with the heavier 2219's as I have several packages of 100 grains I bought reasonable just because I got a good deal on them.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I'm going to give the Rocky Mountain Snyper a try this year.  Have an order coming in within the next couple of days.  Will post again after I give them a test.

I use the rockymountain Snyper. I find this mechanical very efficient and accurate. 1 inch groups at 40 and 45 yrds. Blades can be held in the closed position by one wrap of scotch tape ( works better than the rubber o rings.
I also used both thunderheads and muzzys. Both with good to fair results. I did find that the thunderheads tend to loose blades either on impact or broke blades on impact. Both heads for me seemed to be hard to keep balanced on the arrows. They did fly well when balanced properly.

I did test the new g-5 tekan this year. This head is built tough but lacks in the ease of practice department. I was less than impressed with the heads groupings. It balanced well on the arrows but did not group worth a hoot. 4 to 5" at best at 40 yrds. Some may be satisfied with that but to me is unacceptable.

I do all my broadhead testing on 20" goldtips with 4 or 5 " vanes and the brass inserts off of a 200lb exomag.

Mark,
I'm with you on the Rocky Mountain Snyper.  I finally got some the other day and did some test shooting.  They group real tight, same as my field points.  I had a friend who just had tooth braces removed give me a package of the little rubber bands that were for the braces.  (free is a good price).  I tried them on the broadhead, and they work perfectly.  Sure beats the $1.50 per dozen the manufacturer wants for the bands.  If you know and orthodontist or someone who wears braces, I'll bet you can make a similar deal.
