hi all.....my 10 year old went with me on ohio's youth hunt this past weekend.
i used 180 hornady xtp's (.430 cal/.50 cal sabot) and 40 grains of 777 (ffg)

any thoughts on this load ....she is 10...was only going to let her take shots under 50 yards ...she could have taken 3 deer at less than that , but a nap and a sandwich put the kibosh on that!!!!!

also..i have a pardner 20 ga. youth that i intend to fit with a Huntsman barrel for her next year....can i get  a youth monte carlo stock for it, as it has a "straight grip" field sot gun stock...no comb at all.

BT, they sell youth MonteCarlo stocks in synthetic and laminate as well as wood I believe. Call CS and ask for them to send you the barrell and accessory brochure. If you need more help let me know, I'll dig up mine and advise you the item numbers, but CS has all that....<><.... :grin:
