i bought some winchester 410 slugs.......will it be safe to shoot thur --i think a full choke????winchester model 20 single barrell?
?gun is in great condition________-

I've heard that commercially loaded foster slugs can be fired through just about any choke from cylinder bore to full choke without damage to the gun. You can take that with a grain of salt however...............I think it's important to evaluate your own safety and ask yourself what's that worth?

Foster slugs are very nearly hollow and quite soft. This allows them to swage down in the shoke without causing problems. As long as the slugs you have are of the foster type, they should be OK in a modern gun in good condition.
