How Many Different Forends??
« on: December 20, 2004, 10:56:09 AM »
Just bought a 209x50 and love it.  Shoots great.  Want a .223 and a .280 for it next.  Do I need different forends?  The 209x50 has a ramrod hole which I guess doesn't hurt anything as long as the barrel diameter are the same.  But then I got to thinking, one forend can't fit all those different barrel diameters (bull barrels, etc.) or can it?

I guess my question is, how do you know which forends fit which barrels??

There is one for the muzzleloader, one for the standard barrels, one for the heavy barrels and one for the Katahdin Carbine. Also one for the 20 gauge and one for the 12 gauge. Or you can see them for yourself at http://www.tcarms.com/encrifle/stocksnforends.php
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.
