I don't reload for my UV 243 (yet).....but I can say that it shoots Hornady ammo "real good". Bought it mainly for critters and possibly if I ever went back to Penna. to hunt deer......but anyway the 75 gr HP's will group within an inch at 150 yds. Have not put any heavy bullets through it,,and the more ya shoot it the better it seems to get.
I also bought a hundred rounds of Cabela's 75 gr V max and they are a bit more erratic but at 200 yds they can still be deadly on groundhogs.
I cleaned it really well and swabbed the barrel and chamber with bore polish quite well,,J B's or Iosso,,and did the o-ring float. Put a 8x-32x Swift Premier on it and it's a really nice weapon!
Hope you enjoy yours.
