New Polaris ATV
« on: March 10, 2003, 04:23:41 AM »
I was going to join in the existing discussion about Polaris but I thought I would start another one up instead.  I am the proud owner of three Polaris ATV's but I may be getting another one to add to the collection.  If you haven't seen it yet, you need to check out the ATP!  To me, this just looks like one handy machine to have around the farm.  How about you guys?

I beleive the polaris ATP is nothing but a big boss with a smaller bed. I think it has 4 wheels instead of six right? I also beleive it would be a great help around the farm though. Its just that it doesnt really suprise me to see it because we have already seen polaris rangers, kawasaki mules, john deere gators, and the big boss.

back about 10 or more years ago,  Yamaha had a line of ATV's with a PTO, stake bed etc....   They had one called the TerraFirma or something like that.  I used to see it at the local golf driving range with a brush hog attached.  Back then I think they were ahead of their time and didn't sell well.  They should bring them back as more people are wanting and buying ATV's for farm and ranch work that used to be reserved for tractors.   Don't think their mower worked reliably back then but not sure.  I did like the one with the stake bed though, and rarely ever see one around anymore.   It is alot like what Polaris and Artic Cat have out now except the old Yamaha did not have a plastic bed.
