Value of Ruger Old Army commemorative
« on: December 11, 2004, 06:34:12 PM »
A friend has what he says is a Ruger Old Army stainless NIB with papers. Is also a 1976 Bi-centennial commemorative.

Any idea on value? It looks like from Gunbroker & Gunsamerica that the basic value is about $400. Any ideas if a premium may apply? If so how much?

Value of Bi-Centenial Old Army

Rum River,
While I was searching the local gun shows for an Old Army to use for a conversion project gun I found a very good Bi-Centinial model Old Army for $425. The gun was in very good shape but had been shot some. I thought it was a fair price for a commemorative model Old Army.
NIB should be worth at least that to a collector.
"Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level then beat you with experience." Not sure who first said this, but it makes sense.
