has anyone used or is currently using butler creek grips on any
handgun you have or had?
are they any better than the houge mono grip?

I've used some on my revolvers, they seemed serviceable but not fancy.  Hogue make some gorgeous grips, but the price is accordingly higher.  You get what you pay for, especially here.  I like the Hogue stuff, but most of their grips extend below the grip frame, and I prefer the shorter designs for duty and concealment.

:cb2: Sorry—can't help you. I like the Hogue monogrips so much, that anytime I buy a new gun, I just buy the Hogue grips at the same time. The Butler Creek grips my be just fine, but my philosophy is, if it ain't broke . . . (you know the rest!)
