I have a Remington 870 Express Magnum Youth 20 guage. I'm trying to get it fixed up for calling foxes at night.
I love the short barrel, and over all feel of the gun(I'm sorta small framed/my arms). I want to replace the butt stock with an adult sized one. A friend of mine has done this, and it made his gun fit me perfectly. He also bought the "Super Full Turkey" choke for his, and with 3" magnum #2s, or #4s his would easily take foxes out to 50 yards, which is plenty for night hunting.
Normally, our local Wal-Marts would have plenty of the turkey chokes, but as usual, when I need one, they're only carrying them for 12 guages now. I bought a full choke, and although it's OK, I really need the turkey choke. They also used to carry replacement stocks in camo/synthetic, but "YEP", they've quit carrying those too!
I did find a replacement stock for the 12 guage, but I'm not sure it'd fit my 20 guage?
Can any of you fellows help me solve this problem? We only have a few weeks left of fox season, and I'm kinda in a pickle here.
