Yep, she would along with a couple other rifles I can think of :-D and all of them have large bore barrels too :wink:

Dang it ...your gonna get me thinkin about gettin another one that I can cram even more of that smoky stuff into.... I have been toying with the idea of boring that Buffalo classic barrel out to hold one of the larger howitzer rounds..after that brass starts gettin close to 3 inches long it gets expensive :shock: and I just thought 45-70 brass was high....

I wonder how feasable it would be to take a 50 sidekick barrel and bore a 50-70 chamber in it. I'd bet my eye teeth that is why we are seeing a 500 S&W, they are making both on the same barrel.

One look down the bore would tell ya, all of my fast twist inline muzzleloaders have considerably deeper rifling than my centerfire bores and the twist is slow compared to most centerfire calibers at 1 in 26". The twist rate of the 500S&W is 1 in 18¾".

Saw four of these rifles today one on top of the other. 32. 38 45-70 and ?Not new but in pime shape. But ony to look at.

That new in box is a beauty.
