SS 26 inch barrel

I'm interested in a muzzle loader in one of these NEF guns.

I'd  like the longer barrel. It HAS to be stainless steel.

What's the big difference between a Huntsman and the Sidekick? I don't see much other than they don't list the longer barrel for the Huntsman.

What does it take to mount a scope on one of these guns? Are they already tapped from the factory for some weaver scope bases?

What is a bargain sale price on one of these rifles?

I purchased the blued model Sidekick,,,really like the gun,,got mine through Bass Pro Shop. Ordered the scope rail from H&R,,,then found that with the high mounts I used for the scope I couldn't get a good line of eyesight with the straight stock that comes standard......So after putting a monte carlo stock from my Sportster on it and it being perfect,,,I'm now waiting on another monte carlo stock to arrive.
The gun shoots 2,,50 gr. pellets of 777 and 295 HP Powerbelt real well,,(holes touching).....also shot 240 XTP hp sabots that held a 3 inch group at 75 yds. with the same powder.  The PB's load alot easier after a couple fires.    Clean-up is EZ,,too.

The difference between the to revolve around the receiver. The receiver on the Huntsman will accept other barrels. You can turn the Huntsman into a .243 or a 12 Guage shotgun. Because of the fact that you can turn the gun into a center fire rifle or shotgun have to purchase the gun from and FFL. No mail order on the Huntsman. The Sidekick is strictly Black powder only and can be mail ordered!! The Huntsman barrel on the muzzleloader is only 24" therefore it only accepts powder charges up to 100 grain equivalents. The Sidekick will take magnum charges up to 150 grains using pellets. Otherwise the two guns are almost identical. I hope that helps. I purchased the Sidekick about 3 weeks ago and I am happy with it so far.
