I'm just curious to know who's tried this powder in their 22 caliber centerfires and how well it performed. I'm thinking of using this for my first powder to start in my 223 WSSM; so I wanted to have a few opinions on this powder. It seems to show excellent consistency in many of the 22's. Thanks.

BL-C(2) is an excellent powder in everything from .17 caliber to .458 caliber (depending on bullet weight).
I found it to be the choice of powder in 61 different loads, and was "functional" in another 732 loadings.
As for the .223 WSSM, it is my powder of choice for bullets weighing between 40 grains and 53 grains.

I was once told that BL-C(2) was/is used in the 223 military ammo. What truth there is to that can be anyone's guess. Ken Water's Pet Loads mentions that powder as his first choice for the 223.

I like BLC-2 in the 223 and 308. I have used it along with W748 in 30-30 as well.
I use it with 55 grain bullets in .223 and 130 grain Barnes X in the 308. I also use it with Hornady 130 grain SSSP in the 30-30 as well.
I maybe prejudice but I never used a ball type powder that I didn't like. I exclusively use ball type powder in 99% of my reloading. I would still be using The Winchester Magnum ball powder if I could still buy it.........Chainsaw

I load alot of BLc2 powder in every thing from .17 Rem to .222 mag. and love it. I`m not sure of the case capasity of the .223 WSSM but my guess would be that BLc2 is alittle on the fast side for that case. You might due better to use a powder that`s alittle slower burning.
