I need some help!
« on: December 15, 2004, 06:21:07 AM »
Hey guys, after looking at the link that talks about making a extractor, I decided to tinker a bit.  I drove out the pin that is closest to the breechface on the lug on the bottom of the barrel.  I didn't end up doing the grinding that it showed, but I did get the ejector really clean now.  My problem is that somewhere along the line, I lost the spring that fits in the hole the ejector fits in(the one that goes parallel to the barrel, and fits between the pin at the end of the lug towards the muzzle, and the back of the ejector).  I was wondering if you guys could look at yours, and see if the spring is all that is in there, or if there is something else, and if so, what these parts are called...I can't find a schematic anywhere, and Brownells has two different springs for the ejector, and I need to know which one to order.  Thanks for the help  .

Skinner: How ya Doin??
The last time I had the ejector assembly apart there was only the spring.
Any good hardware store should have a selection of springs, find one that will fit the hole, then cut and try for length. Make sure it's a pretty healthy compression rating. Hope This Helps:  :D <>< Duce:
