You guys have got me almost convinced to get a 20ga slug gun. Tell me what kind of scopes you use and why. Thanks

Kevin

I'm using a Simmons 1.5 - 5x Whitetail Classic scope.

I chose it for a variety of reasons.
1.  I usually keep it set a the 1.5x level when sitting in my stand, that way I'm able to take quicker shots.

2.  I like having the option of cranking up the magnification to pick my spot on longer shots.

3.  The dull 'granite' finish of the scope keeps shine to a minumum and it blends well with my gun

4.  It was laying in my spare parts bin when I set the gun up

I use the open sights. I have my tracker sighted in at 50 yds. Since I like to hunt inside the treelines I prefer open sights. It really depends what kind of area you will be hunting. I'm shooting only 5/8 of an inch high at 50 with the win. bri sabots. And I can cover up the holes with a quarter :-D  :-D  I really like a shotgun with a rifled barrel.
