i would pick the Simmons 44 mag out of those.there are mail order outlets selling the Simmons Whitetail Expaditions for less money than the 44 mags.i have both the 44mag on on a 22lr and the 6.5-18 power Expadition on a 17 rimfire.both are good scopes for the money but i would try for  a Expadition if i were you.

the Bushnells are a good lower priced scope too.i have a 6-20 Bushnell Scopecheif on a 223 and thats very good,i dont think you will ever find one of those though and i also have two Bushnell Trophys and i like those too.my Trophys are lower power scopes but they have a higher power model and it sells for  around $190.00

I have a Bushnell Banner 6X18X50 on my 223,and I'm amazed at how much light this thing gathers, even on a moonlite night you can spot coyotes as far away as 300 yds. I use it on low lite hunting ( very late evenings and early morn. ) After using my first one for a few months I ordered a second one. They are $109 at Midway. Digger

In the $150-$200 price range, I'd opt for one of the Muellers, the Eraticator being the best of the bunch at $200. It has a superfine reticle with a 1/16 minute dot that can be used black or illuminated, it has much better glass, tracking, and resolution than any of those mentioned. Next down would be the 4-16x50 Sport Dot at $180. Check with Jon at www.theopticzone.com for a good price.
